【摘要】:Thispracticeisdesignedforresearchers,applicators,andendusersofpesticideswhereoneormoreingredientsarebeingmixedintoanaqueousspraysystem.Thepracticeisusefulindeterminingphysicalcompatibilityofaqueousspraymixturesofpesticidesand/orfertilizers.Thepracticeisnotdesignedtodeterminephysicalcompatibilityofnon-aqueousbasedspraymixtures.4.3THeresultsorthetestingshouldbeusedtodeterminethecompatibilityofthemixtureingredientsindynamicapplications.Interpolationofstaticresultstotheexpectationsoftheresultsofthistestisnotencouraged.1.1Thispracticedescribesthemethodfortheevaluationofthephysicalcompatibilityandstabilityofpesticidetankmixturesdilutedforaqueousapplication.Thispracticemayalsobeadaptedtousewithliquidfertilizersinreplacementofthewaterdiluent.1.2Tankmixcompatibilitycanbeaffectedbymanyvariables.Careshouldbetakentoduplicatetestconditions.Thispracticeaddressesthestandardvariablessuchastime,temperature,waterhardness,methodofagitation,anddegreeofagitation.1.3Compatibilityiscomplexandcanbeaffectedbyothervariablessuchasorderofaddition,pHofthedilutionwater,pumpingshear,etc.Undertheparametersofthispractice,theresultswilldefinewhetherthepesticidemixtureisorisnotcompatibleinthelaboratory.Compatibilityorincompatibilityshouldbeconfirmedunderfieldsprayconditions.1.4Propersafetyandhygieneprecautionsmustbetakenwhenworkingwithpesticideformulationstopreventskinoreyecontact,vaporinhalation,andenvironmentalcontamination.1.5Readandfollowallhandlinginstructionsforthespecificformulationandconductthetestinaccordancewithgoodlaboratorypractice.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
